Who it is for
An independent publisher of photobooks, non-fiction or books on visual culture with a small catalogue. At fairs the books sell well because people can flip through them, but online the buyer sees only a cover and hesitates to pay.
How it sells
While the visitor scrolls the home page, the cover opens and they read a real first paragraph with a “Continue reading” button. After a few excerpts the book already feels familiar, and the edition card, with format, binding and an “add to cart” button, is right there. Series suggest what to take next.
How it looks
Saturated blue, black navigation and yellow buttons: bold, like the cover of a modern photo album. A real book lies over the large white FOLIO lettering.
How it differs
The brightest FOLIO: a blue-and-yellow storefront instead of a quiet green reading room or an orange print shop, and the only one with courier delivery to an address.
How enquiries work
The customer puts books in the cart, enters contact details and city, and chooses a branch or delivery to an address. The order is not sent in the demo; at launch it will arrive by email or in Telegram.
